Job description

The Construction Project Manager will lead end-to-end planning and execution of substation construction projects, ensuring schedule integrity, cost control, and cross-functional alignment throughout the EPC lifecycle. This role requires strong leadership, advanced scheduling expertise, and the ability to drive results in complex, high-voltage infrastructure environments. The position is hybrid, with three days per week onsite or in office.
Responsibilities
  • Develop, maintain, and present comprehensive project schedules using Primavera P6.
  • Collaborate with project managers, superintendents, subcontractors, engineers, and procurement to ensure accurate schedule inputs.
  • Apply expert knowledge of EPC project delivery, project controls, and high-voltage substation construction to manage timelines effectively.
  • Analyze schedule logic, identify gaps or conflicts, and perform time impact analysis in coordination with project leadership.
  • Integrate contract milestones, delays, and change orders into schedules and support related documentation and correspondence.
  • Generate and present monthly schedule reports and metrics.
  • Coordinate across sales, engineering, construction, procurement, and commissioning teams to support project execution.
  • Document project events impacting schedule, scope, cost, and efficiency.

Qualifications
  • 5-10 years of experience in construction or engineering project management with full lifecycle ownership.
  • Proven expertise in Primavera scheduling software, cost control, estimating, and procurement coordination.
  • Strong understanding of EPC controls systems and substation projects.
