Job Title:         Supply Management Planner
Client:              Heavy Machine Manufacturing Company
Duration:         1 Year
Location:         Waterloo, IA 50704
Shift:                1st Shift – 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM (Potential overtime)

Role Overview
• Performs supply management planning activities within a defined framework
• Communicates daily with suppliers regarding schedule releases
• Plans purchased material requirements including order quantities and inventory levels
• Supports logistics processes and supplier material management systems
• Provides operational support to Supply Management Specialists

Major Duties
• Execute planning activities in a low-complexity supply chain environment
• Investigate supplier incidents and recommend corrective actions
• Collect market information on cost drivers, innovations, and alternative suppliers
• Assist in reviewing existing operations and identifying process improvements
• Gather data on contract performance for negotiations or renewals
• Perform routine inventory control tasks for quantity, quality, and availability checks
• Support stakeholder engagement by arranging meetings, actions, and events
• Participate in training and development to enhance technical and process knowledge
