Job Description
The Assistant Director of Programming, Marketing, and Events supports the planning, coordination, execution, and continuous improvement of all Center for Psychological Humanities and Ethics (CPHE) offerings and external communications in alignment with the Center's strategic priorities. This role manages the full lifecycle of CPHE's programs and events, including scheduling, budgeting, vendor coordination, setup and breakdown logistics, volunteer management, and post-event assessment. The position develops outreach and advertising plans in collaboration with the Director of Academics and Operations, maintains event inventories and digital assets, and ensures accurate documentation and reporting. Furthermore, the Assistant Director manages website content, social and digital media efforts, content development, and technology-enabled communications.
This role also serves as a collaborative member of the planning team supporting online platform development and digital offerings from the CPHE. The position works closely with the Asst. Director of Finance and Operations and the Associate Director of Media and Technology to ensure programming, communications, and public-facing materials align with the mission and strategic priorities of the Center.
Qualified candidates should possess strong organizational, communication, event planning, and digital media skills, along with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously. A Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, event/project management, or a related field is required, along with a minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience in event planning, communications, marketing, or project management.
Occasional evening and weekend work may be required based on programming and event schedules. The role operates primarily in a standard office environment with additional responsibilities supporting event logistics and operations.
Full-Time Equivalent Hiring Range: $74,450 to $93,050; salary commensurate with relevant experience.
