We are seeking a skilled and strategic Events Operations Specialist to join our corporate events team. This role serves as the technical expert for event technology platforms. The specialist will be responsible for building, maintaining, and executing technology solutions, and creative workflows to support the corporate events function. The ideal candidate must demonstrate exceptional technical skills, project management, data integrity and analysis, and program improvement skills while working alongside teammates, stakeholders, and clients, both internal and external.
Responsibilities
Event Operations & Technology Management
  • Support the corporate events function by developing processes and procedures to find efficiencies through technology
  • Design and customize complex event registration websites, mobile apps, email communications, and attendee surveys within the Cvent or Swoogo platforms
  • Manage event workflows including registration, payment processing, attendee management, and comprehensive reporting
  • Develop and manage processes related to the intake of registration requests
  • Assist with event budgets and timelines including event logistics, financial management, production timelines, vendor timelines, and creative deliverables
  • Serve as a superuser for product updates and training on the Cvent platform including troubleshooting technical issues
  • Liaise with internal travel team to configure and deploy integrations

Data Analysis & Reporting
  • Generate post-event reports, dashboards, and feedback to analyze events and regularly report results to leaders, executives, and stakeholders
  • Utilize analytical mindset to gain valuable data insights and establish event metrics

Event Planning
  • Experience with the planning and execution of events
  • Ability to manage group travel, including rooming lists and airfare
  • Maintain relationships and facilitate regular meetings with key partners, clients, and vendors
  • Provide guidance and training to other events personnel on using technology platforms effectively
  • Partner with event specialists to collectively organize event information, documents, and resources

Continuous Improvement & Innovation
  • Identify ongoing opportunities for continuous improvement within existing event procedures and planning cycle
  • Provide recommendations on emerging technology trends to corporate event leadership
  • Stay up to date on industry trends and best practices in the events industry

Qualifications

Education & Experience
  • Experience in event planning or event technology management
  • 3+ years of direct experience using the Cvent platform with proficiency in complex registration design, build, management, and reporting capabilities
  • Must have knowledge of creating events with multiple registration types, admission items, and travel integrations
  • Proficient in project management tools, preferably Smartsheet and Asana
  • Expert in MS Office (with emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Understanding of a variety of technology tools and platforms with ability to speak to features and benefits
  • Understanding of group travel process and ability to assist

Preferred
  • Experience with Swoogo
  • Design experience in Canva or Photoshop

We believe in fair compensation for all of our people, which is why our pay structure takes into account the cost of labor across U.S. geographic markets. For this position, we offer a pay range of $52,700 -- $114,300 annually, with pay varying depending on work location and job-related factors such as knowledge, position level and experience. During the hiring process, your recruiter can provide more information about the specific salary range for the job location.
CHG Healthcare offers starting salaries for sales positions in the form of total target compensation (TTC = base + commission + bonus), which includes base pay, commission, and bonuses. Sales positions receive short-term incentives through commission plans and bonuses. On the other hand, non-sales positions have starting salaries that consist of a base salary and short-term incentives through various bonus plans, which are paid out monthly, quarterly, or annually.
