Base hourly pay for this position is $18.50. At our San Bruno store, team members average approximately $9.41 per hour in tips. Tips are not guaranteed and may vary based on shift, business levels, and seasonality.


Embarc is seeking an experienced, self-motivated, and organized Operations Support Guide to join our cannabis dispensary full-time. As an emerging, community-driven retailer, we rely on this role to execute core inventory functions while supporting back-of-house, front-of-house, reception, and customer service. What is the Job?

The Operations Support Guide's key focus is supporting inventory functions. This role also assists with back-of-house operations, front-of-house operations, reception, and customer service. It requires attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, a customer service focus, and strict compliance with company policies and state regulations.


Core Responsibilities Inventory:

  • Assist with inventory management: intake, counts, pricing, transfers, recalls, stocking, and compliance.
  • Assist with maintaining accurate counts and records in POS systems.
  • To ensure accuracy, assist with recurring audits, spot checks, and cycle counts.
  • Ensure compliance with state and local cannabis regulations.


Store Operations:

  • Assist with the execution of daily store operations to ensure efficiency and compliance.
  • Support the implementation of company policies, legal regulations, and operational improvements.
  • Maintain organization and cleanliness in back-of-house areas to ensure safety and compliance.
  • Support product merchandising and ensure displays meet company and compliance standards.
  • Able to safely lift and carry up to 35 lbs


Customer Experience:

  • Assists the front-of-house store team in creating an exceptional experience for customers and employees.
  • Engage with customers on the sales floor when needed, answering questions and recommending products.
  • Provides a welcoming and compliant customer check-in at reception.
  • Participate in community engagement, field marketing, social media, and local events to represent the Embarc brand.
  • Builds customer retention using company loyalty programs.
