Spanish Speaking Registered Nurse (RN) | Corporate Employee Wellness Event
Job Location: Fort Wayne, IN 46809.
Job Type: Independent Contractor (1099).
Pay Rate: $40/hr.
Schedule: 8/11, 8/12, 9/22, 9/23. 8am-5pm.
Full Description:
A temporary employee wellness program serving a corporate industrial workforce in Fort Wayne, IN is seeking a Spanish Speaking Registered Nurse (RN) with phlebotomy experience. This role supports a workplace screening event by assisting employees with referral scheduling and performing skilled specimen collections in a professional workplace environment.
The ideal candidate has strong interpersonal skills and the ability to create a supportive and organized patient experience. Clinic events are scheduled periodically as part of workplace wellness programming and are not part of a fixed schedule.
Responsibilities:
  • Assist with setup of mobile clinic within corporate environments supporting employee wellness programs.
  • Perform/collect accurate venipuncture and specimen collections.
  • Review health history, record patient information and update electronic health record (EHR).
  • Assist patients with referral scheduling and follow-up appointments.
  • Provide education and guidance on next steps for care.
  • Coordinate with insurance providers when necessary for scheduling or documentation.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with service providers.
  • Maintain professionalism and treat patients with respect.
  • Provide excellent customer service.
  • Assist with documentation, data tracking, and basic spreadsheet reporting when appropriate.
  • Support smooth clinic workflow in a temporary on-site screening environment.
Requirements:
  • Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse License in Indiana.
  • Active BLS/ ACLS certification required.
  • Phlebotomy experience required (certification preferred).
  • Must be bilingual fluent in Spanish.
  • Proven experience with medical scheduling and familiarity with EMR system is a plus.
  • Customer service-oriented and has great bedside manner.
  • Strong communication skills; both written and verbal.
  • Comfortable working independently or with little to no supervision.
  • Must bring a personal laptop or tablet to each shift to complete electronic charting and documentation.
  • Must be able to reliably commute to Fort Wayne, IN 46809.
