About the business unit:

BD Interventional (BDI) focus on leading innovation and life-enhancing devices in the field of surgical, endovascular, urological and critical care interventions aiming at advancing the treatment of high burden diseases and enabling surgical and interventional procedures.

Peripheral Intervention:

Our Peripheral Intervention (PI) business unit offers a comprehensive range of medical products, devices and services for the treatment of peripheral arterial and venous disease, cancer detection, and end-stage renal disease and maintenance.

About the role:

This role supports upstream marketing and new product development initiatives by leveraging market insights, analytics, and cross functional collaboration to help shape product strategy and drive business growth. The position also partners closely with sales and commercial teams on select downstream marketing activities, helping translate customer and market insights into effective go to market strategies and business recommendations.

Job Duties:

  • Supports marketing plans and upstream projects including execution; evaluates effectiveness and makes adjustments as needed.
  • Take an active role on product development teams
  • Identifyand communicate market trends to division management and cross-functional team
  • Contribute to forecasting by using robust market models and analytics
  • Identifyand communicate market trends to leadership and cross-functional team
  • Contribute to comprehensive product marketing plans including strategic and technical componentsin order tomeet revenue and margin targets
  • Researches new trends and technologies related to business unit's industry; recommends innovative ideas to increase competitive advantage.
  • Works closely with sales, customer service and other internal departments to ensure effective communication and support of marketing initiatives.
  • Assists in the development of advertising campaigns and promotional materials including print ads, brochures, direct mailings, email, web pages, etc.
  • Attends conferences and trade shows as required; maintains awareness of changes in industry practices and technology.
  • Assists in planning and executing special events such as meetings, training sessions, trade shows and receptions.

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Professional experience collaborating with cross functional teams through internships, academic projects, or early career roles.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships and work effectively in a collaborative environment.
  • Ability to translate complex information into clear, compelling messages for diverse audiences.
  • Excellent attention to detail with the ability to manage timelines and follow through on deliverables.
  • Ability to work in office at least 4 days a week

  • Experience developing and implementing successful marketing campaigns
