Senior Digital Marketing Associate

What you'll do:

As a Senior Digital Marketing Associate you'll be responsible for the day-to-day management, optimization, and governance of the organization's enterprise website and related digital properties. You will lead content authoring, publishing, maintenance, and quality assurance activities ensuring website content remains accurate, compliant, accessible, and aligned with business objectives and brand standards.
You'll collaborate with stakeholders throughout the organization to gather requirements, prioritize website enhancements, and identify opportunities to improve digital experiences that support business objectives. In this role, You'll use analytics, user behavior insights, SEO best practices, and content performance data to identify optimization and improve customer engagement and conversion outcomes.
You will serve as a key steward of the website platform, managing content workflows, governance process, and publishing standards while supporting ongoing enhancements, releases, and issue resolution.
A critical aspect of this role is to work closely with vendors, agencies, and third-party consultants to support website functionality, optimization initiatives, testing, and ongoing platform enhancement. The Senior Digital Marketing Associate will also lead additional digital initiatives that improve operational efficiency, strengthen customer experience, and advance the organization's digital marketing strategy.
  • Serve as the primary owner of content authoring and publishing across corporate website properties.

  • Oversee website roadmap and backlog. Collaborate with development and IT teams on CMS components, integrations, and enhancements.

  • Define and maintain site architecture, navigation, taxonomy, and user journeys.

  • Leverage CMS capabilities (components, templates, shared content components) to create dynamic, scalable, and reusable content experiences.

  • Ensure all content reflects strong destination storytelling, brand standards, and digital best practices. Maintain content governance and UX/CX standards.

  • Apply Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.2 AA) to audit, remediate, and maintain accessible web content, and champion accessibility best practices.

  • Support SEO/GEO and AI-search strategies and execution.

  • Optimize conversion pathways across key journeys.

  • Support experimentation and A/B testing initiatives.

  • Help analyze performance metrics and make recommendations. Evaluate emerging technologies and provide thought leadership and perspective for adoption where appropriate.

  • Contribute or guide light graphic design execution (web assets, landing pages, promotional visuals).

  • Develop training materials and documentation and train marketing team members on digital best practices and standards.

  • May provide leadership, coaching, and work direction to team members and contractors. Direct people-management responsibilities may be assigned based on organization needs.

What you'll need:

  • 5+ years of progressive experience managing enterprise website platforms, including content authoring and governance, digital experience optimization, UX improvements, SEO, analytics, digital accessibility, stakeholder management, and conversion optimization.

  • Experience with CMS platforms such as Sitecore, Drupal, Adobe Experience Manager, or similar.

  • Strong understanding of UX/CX principles.

  • Experience developing and executing SEO strategies, including familiarity with GEO and AEO best practices.

  • Strong knowledge of content architecture, site taxonomy, navigation design, and digital governance.

  • Experience managing content governance practices, publishing workflows, quality assurance processes, and cross-functional stakeholder reviews within a regulated or enterprise environment.

  • High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree in related field preferred.

  • Intermediate knowledge of digital marketing management. Knowledge of marketing processes including but not limited to creative work, messaging, working with agencies and vendors, etc.

  • Entry level to intermediate knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations, rules and regulations, industry standards and practices.

  • Intermediate skills in personal computer operation, marketing program management, Workfront or other project management tools. Proficiency in writing and editing marketing communications.

  • Intermediate ability to work strategically and tactically in a hands-on/executional capacity.

  • Self-motivated and independent, with the ability to influence others without direct control. Courage to take initiative, pilot and evaluate new program types.

  • Experience using data and metrics to determine key insights to drive improvements.

  • Intermediate speaking and writing communication skills.

  • Occasional travel required.
