Windward is seeking an Associate ServiceNow Event Management Technical Consultantresponsible for configuring and developing ServiceNow solutions that meet business and technical requirements. This role combines technical expertise in the ServiceNow platform with Event Management experience and consulting and implementation skills to deliver high-quality, scalable applications and modules. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience working in the Event Management space in ServiceNow (or other similar tools) and preferably is a ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).
Key Responsibilities
  • Acquire ServiceNow ITOM Event Management Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) certification.
  • Develop, and implement ServiceNow solutions-including custom applications, workflows, forms, UI policies, business rules, and integrations-ensuring alignment with business and technical requirements.
  • Configure and maintain ServiceNow ITOM applications, including Discovery, Service Mapping and Event Management following best practices for maintainability and performance.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and Business Analysts to translate business needs into technical specifications and lead technical workshops to review design, architecture, and configuration approaches.
  • Support end-to-end project delivery including testing, deployment, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and system optimization.
  • Develop and support integrations with enterprise systems (e.g., Azure AD, HR, ERP, monitoring tools) using REST, SOAP, APIs, and IntegrationHub, ensuring secure data exchange.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Knowledge of JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and some exposure to ServiceNow Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, Glide API and Service Portal development.
  • Familiarity with Agile delivery (Scrum or SAFe).
  • Understanding enterprise service management practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Strong communication and presentation abilities.

Required Certifications
  • ServiceNow Certified Systems Administrator

Preferred Qualifications
  • Proven experience delivering on at least one ServiceNow Event Management implementation.
  • Knowledge/understanding of JavaScript, Glide API, HTML/CSS, and ServiceNow platform architecture.
  • Experience with Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, and Service Portal development.
  • Experience and understanding of Event Management concepts and workflows, different types of event sources and monitoring tools, both general purpose and cloud-native monitoring
  • Hands-on experience with ServiceNow integrations and API-based data exchange
  • Experience with at least one Event Management application in an enterprise environment
  • Experience performing event correlation activities, alert grouping, and root cause analysis.
  • Experience with threshold design and implementation into event generation
  • Experience building visualizations/dashboards to show event/observability information effectively

Preferred Certification
  • ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist - Event Management
  • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)
  • TIL v3 or v4 Certification
  • CompTIA Security+ CE (or equivalent) is a bonus
  • Additional ServiceNow certifications in areas such as ITOM, SecOps, GRC, or ITSM
