As an Events Host, your mission is to go above and beyond to ensure our guests have the time of their lives, from the moment they step in until they leave with smiles on their faces.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Get the party started by gathering all essential event and staffing information before the event begins.
  • Be the go-to person for our guests, communicating with managers, chefs, and service staff to make sure everything runs smoothly and all special requests are met.
  • Be the master of setup, overseeing the arrangement of tables, areas, and supplies to create the perfect ambiance.
  • Form personal connections with event contacts and consistently exceed their expectations, making every guest feel like a VIP.
  • Take charge of food and beverage service, ensuring our guests are treated to an extraordinary dining experience.
  • Bring the fun to our events by assisting with programming names and explaining safety precautions in a lively and engaging manner.
  • Embrace your selling superpowers and suggestively offer fantastic add-ons like food, beverage, and unique experience packages to make the event even more memorable.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • QUALIFICATIONS: The Event Host must meet and exceed customer expectations, provide the highest quality of services to guests and vendors, and be able to communicate effectively verbally with customers, co-workers and supervisors. Must be detailed-oriented and have the ability to multi-task. Event Hosts must have the ability to work well in a team environment and function in a fast-paced environment, under short-time constraints and within established deadlines.
  • EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: Two to three years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • PHYSICAL DEMANDS: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, 100 pounds with help and/or assistance.
  • WORK ENVIRONMENT: While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in a bowling center environment where high levels of noise, dust and activity can be expected. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Possess bilingual communication skills
