POSITION TITLE:ย  Food Services Warehouse Associate - 9 Month

DEPARTMENT/LOCATION:ย  Food Services/Food Production Center

STATUS:ย  Classified - Non-Exempt, Full Time

HOURS OF WORK/CALENDAR:ย  Monday through Friday, 171B-day Calendar

POSITION SUMMARY:ย  This position is responsible for maintaining a complete inventory of supplies for all sites. This position is expected to fill orders for sites and assist with the delivery of warehouse items to sites in a timely manner. This position is part of the Food Services Team.

PRIMARY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Assist drivers in meeting timetables for loading and delivery to maintain schedules.

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Verify dates on supplies are current and used in order of arrival.

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Drive forklift to load and unload deliveries.

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Fill orders for food production sites ensuring each site has necessary supplies to complete planned menus.

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience Requirements:

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  High school diploma or equivalent

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Job related experience is desired

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Certificate to operate a forklift required

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:ย 

ย This position requires the performance of heavy work. Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects. The position requires significant lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, climbing, balancing, and significant finger dexterity. The position also involves occasional crawling, crouching, grasping, kneeling, and stooping. This position is performed under some temperature extremes and in in a generally hazard free environment.
