JOB TITLE: Delivery Driver and Back-Up Dispatch
JOB TYPE: Fulltime Non-exempt, hourly
Job Summary: Karins Florist is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Delivery Driver to join our vibrant team. Youll play a key role in ensuring our beautiful floral arrangements reach customers with care and timeliness. This position involves more than just drivingyou will be the face of our business when delivering to clients, contributing to their special moments. Additionally, youll assist with event setups and coordinate deliveries, helping keep operations running smoothly.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Safely and promptly deliver floral arrangements to customers, businesses, and event venues.
Provide excellent customer service, ensuring deliveries are handled with care and professionalism.
Assist in event setup and takedown, including arranging flowers and dcor as needed.
Accurately follow route plans and schedules, ensuring timely deliveries.
Communicate with the shop team about delivery statuses and any issues that arise.
Handle and care for floral products to maintain their quality during transport.
Ensure the company vehicle is clean, maintained, and in good working order.
Support with dispatching and routing drivers when required.
Assist with other operational duties as needed, such as packaging and organizing orders.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Good communication skills and capacity to interact with customers and employees while maintaining a positive attitude at all times.
Must interact with other departments professionally and calmly.
Must be 21 years old with a good driving record including no DUIs or reckless convictions.
Must be a selfstarter and team player with the ability to work without supervision.
Available to work Saturdays and occasional Sundays.
Must have excellent computer skills.
Drive all sizes of Karins Florist vehicles in all areas of the Karins delivery area in all weather conditions.
Able to lift and deliver arrangements up to 50 lbs.
Able to run dispatch operations in the absence of the Delivery Manager for short terms.
Able to lead the delivery and setup of weddings and events.
Wear the appropriate Karins logo polo shirt, solid navy, black or Khaki pants or appropriate length and style shorts in the summer. Other than Karins no other logos are to be worn.
