Job description

Pay:

  • $19/hour

The Customized Community Supports Coordinator is responsible for overseeing daily operations to ensure high-quality services are delivered to people supported. This role provides supervision, coaching, and mentorship to In Home Direct Support Professionals (DSPs), modeling person-centered practices and fostering an environment of mutual respect and teamwork. The CCSC ensures that each person supported has opportunities to grow, learn, and engage within their community while maintaining a safe and secure environment. Additional responsibilities include managing program budget, balancing worked and billed hours, supporting team member relations, and coordinating training to promote an Alive Workplace and achieve organizational goals.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS 
  • High school degree or GED with experience working with the vulnerable populations is required 
  • Working knowledge of Minnesota Statutes 
  • Training in basic supervisory skills, team building, challenging behaviors and leadership is preferred 
  • Experience in a supervisory capacity preferred 
  • Background Study (BGS) clearance is required 
  • Driver’s license required. Motor Vehicle Check (MVR) with a satisfactory driving record required 
  • CPR certificate (when required), First Aid and Medication Administration training is also required but can be obtained after hire
