Job description

Position: Event Associate: Part Time
Location: Florida
FLSA Class: Non-exempt (hourly)
Reports to: Sales Rep
Summary:
Kiefer Aquatics is hiring a Event Associate for weekend and weekday events to help assist with Swim team Fittings, Swim meets, and any other event swim events. Some travel will be required too as our events are located all over the state of Florida. We are looking for people who want to work on some weekend events and enjoy helping parents and swimmers of all ages. We offer good pay and an amazing Employee discount while you work for Kiefer Aquatics. IF you are a swim mom or Dad and will be at these meets anyway this is a great way to make some extra cash and help get some of your swim equipment at amazing prices! Apply today!
We offer team members:
  • Pay rates of $15-18 per hour!!
  • Part time positions available with events scheduled up to 1-2 months in advance.

Essential Functions/Primary Duties:
  • Previous swimming knowledge not required but helpful
  • Ability to converse with parents and swimmers of all ages
  • Ability to provide excellent customer service
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and have a valid driver’s license.
  • Must be available to work weekdays and some weekends.

Working Conditions:

Physical Requirements:
The physical demands of this position are representative of those that must be met in order to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
Regularly required to stand for long periods of time, kneel, climb, twist, move about the warehouse, and push, pull, and lift in excess of 50 pounds, including lifting above shoulder level
Regularly required to use hands and fingers to feel, touch, or handle objects and tools and reach with hands and arms
Specific vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
