The Greater Metropolitan Association of REALTORS® (GMAR) is one of the largest local REALTOR® associations in Michigan, serving thousands of real estate professionals by providing industry-leading MLS services, education, advocacy, and member support.

We're looking for an enthusiastic, technology-minded MLS Member Support Specialist who enjoys helping others, solving problems, and learning new systems. This is a hybrid position. Following the successful completion of onboarding and training, the position includes both in-office and remote work. Some regularly-scheduled evening and weekend remote support is required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Become a subject matter expert on GMAR's Multiple Listing Service (MLS) platform and SentriLock lockbox system.

  • Deliver exceptional customer service by assisting members via phone, email, online chat, Microsoft Teams, and remote support.

  • Troubleshoot MLS, SentriLock, and related technology issues while guiding members through solutions.

  • Assist and train new members with MLS onboarding and educate members on system features and best practices.

  • Process SentriLock lockbox orders.

  • Assist with MLS compliance by reviewing violation reports, communicating with members, and processing corrections as needed.

  • Manage member support requests through the Zoho Desk ticketing system by creating, updating, and resolving service tickets.

  • Provide outstanding customer service by assisting members with membership questions, education registration, payments, reinstatements, and account updates.

  • Assist members with purchases and questions related to the GMAR ToolShop.

  • Collaborate with colleagues and provide support for special projects and association initiatives as needed.

Qualifications Required

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Experience in the real estate industry or with Multiple Listing Services (MLS)

  • Experience providing technical support or software troubleshooting

  • Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) or help desk ticketing systems

  • Minimum of two years of customer service or sales experience

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Excellent customer service, interpersonal, and active listening skills

  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities

  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail

  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Outlook, Excel, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive wi

  • Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new software platforms and technology

  • Typing speed of at least 45 words per minute

  • Professional demeanor with the ability to maintain strict confidentiality
