Job description

Regions Hospital, a Level I Trauma Center serving adults and children in Minnesota and western Wisconsin for more than 150 years, is looking for a Per Diem Pharmacist in Outpatient and Medication History. Available shifts include day/evening and weekend. The ideal candidate will have initiative, good triaging skills, and experience in a fast-paced hospital pharmacy.

Pharmacists provide professional pharmaceutical services by:

  • Verifying medication orders and dispensing medications and related supplies.
  • Monitoring patient medication therapies.
  • Providing drug information to healthcare providers.
  • Overseeing the work of direct support personnel.

Work Schedule:

  • Per diem, day/evening and weekend shifts available.

Required Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy with a BS Pharmacy degree or Doctor of Pharmacy degree.
  • Currently functioning in an outpatient/retail or medication history capacity.
  • Licensed to practice pharmacy in the State of Minnesota.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • One year of experience in an outpatient/retail or medication history role.
  • Advanced medication therapy medication training.
