The Opportunity
Greater Illinois Behavioral Health is seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP/APRN) to join their Illinois treatment team, supporting clients at their Schaumburg location. This is a contract (1099) opportunity for a clinician with strong communication skills who is comfortable working within a structured, onsite treatment setting.
What You'll Do
  • Provide psychiatric evaluations and medication management to clients
  • Collaborate with the clinical and interdisciplinary team to support integrated treatment
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and the treatment team throughout the course of care

Requirements
Requirements
  • Active, unrestricted Illinois RN and APRN license (required). Illinois is not part of the Nurse Licensure Compact, so an Illinois-issued APRN credential is required regardless of licensure held in other states
  • Board certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) through ANCC
  • Master's degree from an accredited PMHNP program
  • 1-2 years of relevant clinical experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
