A Typical Day
As a Receptionist, you'll play an important role in creating a welcoming, safe, and organized environment for everyone who visits our facility. Your responsibilities may include:

  • Greeting patients, visitors, and staff with professionalism, warmth, and courtesy.
  • Providing accurate information and directions while anticipating the needs of patients and guests.
  • Answering incoming telephone calls promptly and routing calls according to departmental procedures.
  • Monitoring the reception and information desk to ensure exceptional customer service throughout each shift.
  • Issuing and collecting visitor passes while following hospital security protocols.
  • Assisting patients and visitors with general questions, parking information, and way finding.
  • Monitoring visitor activity and reporting safety or security concerns to the appropriate personnel.
  • Supporting volunteer activities and assisting with volunteer coordination at the information desk.
  • Maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area.
  • Providing administrative support and assisting with additional Reception Services and Security Department responsibilities as needed.
