Position Overview
We invite candidates with 5+ years of litigation experience, including trial experience, to join our Litigation Department as a Litigation attorney representing public agencies, primarily in the Los Angeles office.
Responsibilities
- Represent public agencies in complex litigation matters.
- Manage bench or jury trials, including writing and arguing dispositive motions.
- Take and defend depositions, and prepare and respond to written discovery.
- Research and draft legal arguments and legal opinions.
- Collaborate with senior attorneys on strategy and case development.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of litigation experience, including trial experience.
- California Bar membership.
- Superior research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
- Excellent academic credentials.
- A commitment to professional excellence.
Compensation & Benefits
Base pay range: $147,800.00/yr – $195,000.00/yr (actual compensation will depend on experience, litigation skill set, and business origination).
