Responsibilities

The Continuous Improvement Engineer is responsible for identification, analyzation, and implementation of process enhancements within our distribution network. This role will collaborate with cross functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives, remove all forms of waste, optimize workflows, and streamline operations which will contribute to increased efficiency, cost effectiveness, and customer satisfaction. Qualifications

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, required.
  • Master's degree is a plus.
  • Minimum of 4+ years of experience in distribution process engineering with a focus on distribution process improvement and Lean engineering principles.
  • Lean training and/or certification required.
  • Experience and knowledge of Six Sigma is a plus.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Work performed is typically performed in a temperature-controlled environment
  • Must sit, stand, or walk for extended periods
  • May spend long periods at a desk or computer terminal
  • May use calculators, keyboards, telephones, and other office equipment during workday
  • Stooping, bending, twisting, and reaching may be required in the completion of job duties
  • Work is fast-paced; occasional evening and weekend work may be required
