Commercial Electrician / Electrical Field Technician

CSL Technology Solutions – Tipp City, Ohio

$24–$28/hour | Full-Time | Year-Round Work | Paid Travel amp; Drive Time

CSL Technology Solutions is hiring an experienced Commercial Electrician / Electrical Field Technician for year-round commercial electrical work throughout Ohio and surrounding states. We are specifically looking for candidates with 4+ years of hands-on commercial electrical field experience and journeyman-level skills.

This is not an apprentice-level or entry-level position.

CSL works across a wide range of commercial electrical projects, including ground-up construction, electrical service and troubleshooting, renovations, solar, EV, controls, lighting, signage, neon repair, and bucket-truck work.

This is a strong opportunity for an experienced electrician who wants steady year-round work, varied projects, and a smaller team-based environment where individual experience matters.

What You Will Do

Work may include:

  • Ground-up commercial electrical construction
  • Commercial service, repair, and troubleshooting
  • Conduit bending, installation, and wire pulling
  • Panels, feeders, branch circuits, devices, and equipment connections
  • Controls and specialty systems
  • Solar array electrical connections
  • Interior and exterior lighting
  • Signage and neon repair
  • Bucket truck and elevated electrical work
  • Reading blueprints, schematics, scopes, and job instructions
  • Electrical testing and diagnostics
  • Preparing tools, materials, and equipment for projects
  • Communicating job progress, material needs, and safety concerns

CSL also supports electrical design, project planning, permitting, and inspection coordination, giving field technicians exposure to more of the complete commercial electrical project process.

Required Qualifications
  • 4+ years of hands-on commercial electrical field experience
  • Journeyman-level commercial electrical knowledge and field skills
  • Experience with conduit, wiring, panels, feeders, branch circuits, devices, and troubleshooting
  • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, scopes of work, and project instructions
  • Experience using electrical test equipment, hand tools, and power tools
  • Strong understanding of safe electrical work practices
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to travel overnight, typically Monday through Friday
  • Ability to work day, evening, or overnight shifts when required
  • Ability to safely perform physically active field work, including climbing, lifting, and working at heights
  • Reliable attendance, good communication, and a team-first attitude
Preferred Experience
  • Commercial or industrial electrical service
  • Ground-up commercial construction
  • Controls and equipment connections
  • Foreman, lead, or crew leadership experience
  • OSHA30, NFPA 70E or other advanced electrical safety training
Schedule amp; Travel
  • Full-time, year-round work
  • Weekly travel throughout Ohio and surrounding states, typically Monday through Friday
  • Day, evening, and overnight projects as required
  • Some projects may use four 10–12 hour workdays, occasionally allowing Fridays off
  • Company travel begins and ends at the office, drive time is paid
