The Atlantic Mental and Wellness Center is actively seeking a fully licensed mental health therapist, proficiently equipped to deliver quality mental health services. This full-time role offers the flexibility of remote work while primarily serving clients in an outpatient office setting in Hillsboro, Oregon. The ideal candidate will hold an active and independent license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), bringing both passion and expertise to our dedicated team.

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to accurately determine clients' mental health needs, followed by the development of personalized treatment plans that reflect their goals.
• Utilize evidence-based therapy techniques—such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and solution-focused therapy—to provide impactful services to individuals, groups, and families.
• Engage in collaboration with psychiatrists, case managers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for our clients.
• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support to clients facing acute distress or emergencies, showcasing both empathy and clinical skill.
• Participate in outreach initiatives and community education programs aimed at raising awareness about mental health and reducing stigma.

Your role will involve working with a diverse array of clients, including children, adolescents, adults, and families from varying socioeconomic and cultural backgrounds. This position allows you to enhance your clinical experience and cultural competency, ensuring that all clients receive respectful and effective care tailored to their specific circumstances.

• A valid and independent license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Oregon.
• A master’s degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited program.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills that facilitate rapport-building with clients and foster effective therapeutic relationships.
• Cultural competence and awareness to address the unique needs of clients from diverse backgrounds.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, ensuring accurate and timely documentation while managing a caseload effectively.

While we welcome applicants at various experience levels, preference will be given to candidates with prior experience in community mental health settings. Familiarity with telehealth platforms and the ability to adapt therapeutic practices for remote delivery is highly desirable. Experience in group therapy facilitation is also a significant asset.

The role offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and credentials.
