Position Overview

Department: Outpatient Physical Therapy

Schedule: Day/Evening shifts, 8 hours, Monday to Friday

Facility: Orthopedic Center

Location: Auburn, ME 04210

Sign-On Bonus: Up to $10,000!

Position Highlights
  • Outpatient setting within a hospital environment.
  • Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system integrated with all healthcare providers in the region.
  • Practice hours are weekdays from 7 AM to 5:30 PM.
  • Focus on personalized patient care.
  • One-on-one therapy sessions.
  • No overlapping appointments or double bookings.
  • Schedule managed by therapists.

Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist, you will:

  • Conduct patient evaluations and physical therapy assessments.
  • Create and implement tailored treatment plans.
  • Administer therapeutic interventions aimed at rehabilitation and functional enhancement.
  • Track patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary.
  • Educate patients and their families about treatment strategies and recovery objectives.
  • Accurately document evaluations, treatments, and patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory, licensing, and patient safety standards.
Qualifications

Education and Experience:

  • Degree in Physical Therapy (Bachelor's, Master's, Doctorate, or Certificate).
  • Current state license in Physical Therapy.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification from AHA, to be maintained throughout employment.
