As a member of our counseling team, you will utilize cloud-based electronic health records (EHR) to maintain comprehensive client records and ensure compliance with insurance standards, including Medicaid and Medicare. In your role as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, you will have the following key responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality individual, family, and group counseling sessions to clients, focusing on helping them identify challenges and develop effective solutions for their mental well-being.
• Conduct assessments and develop tailored treatment plans that address the client’s specific needs, particularly in areas such as trauma, mental health disorders, or dual diagnoses.
• Utilize a HIPAA-compliant telehealth platform to conduct virtual therapy sessions, ensuring the confidentiality and safety of client interactions.
• Collaborate with other mental health professionals in our clinic, while we manage the business operations, allowing you to concentrate fully on client care versus administrative tasks.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all counseling sessions through the cloud-based EHR system, facilitating appropriate billing and compliance with health regulations.

You will serve a diverse patient population, including individuals struggling with various mental health issues, trauma survivors, and families seeking counseling services. Your expertise will be crucial in empowering clients to navigate their challenges and achieve improved mental health outcomes.

We are looking for candidates who meet the following qualifications:

• An active and unrestricted licensure as a Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in the state of Kansas.
• A master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
• A minimum of three years of experience providing mental health counseling services.
• Proficient in utilizing technology for remote counseling, including a reliable laptop or desktop computer, stable internet connectivity, and a web camera for telehealth sessions.
• The ability to work independently and manage your schedule effectively, including flexibility to accommodate some weekend and evening sessions as needed.

Experience with specific patient populations or treatment methodologies related to trauma and dual diagnoses is a plus. Familiarity with utilizing cloud-based EHR systems and telehealth platforms would also enhance your application.
