Job description


Front Desk Receptionist needed for high volume orthopedic clinic in North Oklahoma City
  • The Front Desk Receptionist is the first point of contact for patients and visitors and plays a key role in ensuring a welcoming and professional environment
  • Monday-Friday, no weekends or major holidays

Responsibilities:
  • Greet patients
  • Answer calls, take messages and re-direct calls as necessary
  • Checking patients in/out
  • Enter all patient data quickly and efficiently
  • Verify demographics and insurance during check-in
  • Will ensure all intake information is provided
  • Collect co-pays/balances during the visit
  • Scheduling follow up appointments
  • Chart preparation, scanning/indexing medical records and other duties as assigned

Requirements:
  • Only resumes with a minimum one year medical office experience will be considered
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong work ethic and dependability is required
  • Position is very fast-paced and requires attention to detail and multi-tasking
  • Knowledge of electronic medical records (Epic) preferred but not required
  • High School Graduate or equivalent (GED)
