Job description

PM Maintenance Supervisor
Location: The Westin Westminster, Westminster, CO.
Schedule: Full-time | Primarily PM shifts | Includes weekends and holidays.
About the Role:
The Westin Westminster is seeking a skilled and hands-on PM Maintenance Supervisor to oversee evening engineering operations and ensure the safety, comfort, and functionality of all hotel systems and facilities. This position is responsible for supervising the evening maintenance team, responding to service calls, and coordinating repairs and preventative maintenance throughout the property.
Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and support evening maintenance and engineering team members.
  • Assign and follow up on daily maintenance tasks and guest room calls.
  • Inspect building areas (guest rooms, public spaces, kitchen, pool, and mechanical areas) for maintenance or safety issues.
  • Respond promptly to guest room and public area repair requests.
  • Oversee operation and maintenance of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, lighting, and other building systems.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, fire, and brand standards.
  • Log completed work orders and shift activities in the maintenance tracking system.
  • Communicate with other departments (Front Office, Housekeeping, Banquets, Security) to support smooth hotel operations.
  • Report major repair needs or emergencies to the Chief Engineer or Engineering leadership.
  • Serve as the Engineering point of contact during PM hours and assist in training new maintenance staff.

Qualifications:
  • Previous hotel maintenance or facilities supervision experience required.
  • Strong knowledge of basic electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems.
  • Ability to troubleshoot, prioritize, and complete work orders efficiently.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs and perform physical work as needed.
  • Flexible availability, with primary focus on PM shifts including weekends and holidays.
  • HVAC or trade certifications a plus but not required.
