Able to lift 40 lbs. without assistance, Adherence to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Safety Standards, Cleanroom: no hair products, jewelry, makeup, nail polish, perfume, exposed piercings, facial hair etc... allowed, Cold Room/Freezers -22degreesF/-6degrees C, Some degree of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) required (safety glasses, gowning, gloves, lab coat, ear plugs etc.)

The Team Leader, Packaging/Labeling plays a vital role in ensuring efficient and compliant packaging operations supporting clinical trials and pharmaceutical products. You'll lead daily packaging activities, maintain the highest standards of safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, partner across departments, drive continuous improvement, and develop teams dedicated to delivering exceptional results.

A Day in the Life:
  • Coordinate daily packaging and labeling operations.
  • Lead, coach, and develop team members.
  • Ensure GMP compliance and accurate batch documentation.
  • Partner cross-functionally to resolve operational issues.
  • Support Lean and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Monitor production metrics and documentation.
  • Promote a safe, compliant, collaborative work environment.
Keys to Success:Education
  • Advanced Degree with no prior experience required, OR Bachelor's Degree plus 2 years of experience in pharmaceutical/clinical trial packaging operations.
  • Combination of education and experience will be considered.
  • Preferred fields: Science, Engineering, or related discipline.
  • Professional qualifications in the pharmaceutical or food industry beneficial.
Experience
  • Previous leadership or supervisory experience.
  • Experience in GMP-regulated manufacturing.
  • Lean/Six Sigma experience preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
  • Strong GMP and quality systems knowledge.
  • Experience with batch record documentation.
  • ERP systems, Microsoft Office, and production software proficiency.
  • Strong organization, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lead and develop teams.
  • Attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
  • Ability to collaborate across departments.
  • Ability to work in clean rooms, lift up to 50 lbs, and work various shifts.
