Description

Join our team as an Evening Lead and help create an outstanding shopping experience! In this role, you'll lead evening store operations by supporting team members, delivering exceptional customer service, and ensuring the store remains clean, organized, and running efficiently. From coordinating closing procedures to assisting customers and maintaining store standards, you'll play a key role in keeping the team motivated, the store looking its best, and every shift operating smoothly.


Responsibilities

  • Supervise evening shift employees and delegate daily tasks
  • Provide excellent customer service and resolve customer issues professionally
  • Ensure shelves are stocked, faced, and organized throughout the shift
  • Monitor inventory levels and communicate restocking needs
  • Assist with cashier operations, overrides, and balancing tills as needed
  • Enforce company policies, safety procedures, and cleanliness standards
  • Coordinate and complete nightly closing procedures
  • Train and support new employees during evening shifts
  • Monitor productivity and maintain efficient workflow
  • Respond to emergencies or operational issues when management is unavailable

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous retail or grocery experience preferred
  • Prior leadership or supervisory experience is a plus

  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic math and cash-handling skills
  • Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Physical Demands
  • Ability to stand, walk, and move frequently throughout the day.
  • Must be able to lift up to 40-50 lbs and handle physical tasks 
  • Ability to work in various environmental conditions, including outdoor settings on occasion
Work Environment
  • Ability to work across different work environments: adapting to varying customer needs and operational demands.
