Heartline Staffing, in partnership with Purple Cow Recruiting, is hiring an RN Clinical Manager for the Operating Room at an acute care hospital in Houston, Texas.
POSITION OVERVIEW
Provides leadership to the Operating Room department
Oversees daily operations and departmental staff
Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to deliver patient care
Utilizes the nursing process to ensure quality patient care
SCHEDULE
Split/Evening Shift
Typical hours include 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM or 1:00 PM - 9:00 PM depending on need
ROLE
Manage daily operations of a patient care department
Ensure adequate staffing and scheduling
Serve in charge nurse role and provide patient care as needed
Collaborate with physicians, management, and staff
Participate in program evaluation and process improvement
Support continuity of care and patient experience
Recruit, retain, and develop staff
Provide performance feedback and participate in evaluations
Ensure compliance with regulatory and nursing standards
CLINICAL SCOPE
Oversees RN's, Techs, and Coordinators
Responsible for neuro, plastics, ortho, and ENT service lines
Supports evening, weekend, and night shift staff
FACILITY
Acute care hospital
541-bed facility
Comprehensive Stroke Center designation
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Base Salary: $89,000 - $134,000
Benefits include medical, dental, vision, retirement, and paid time off

Requirements

Active Texas RN license or compact license REQUIRED
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) REQUIRED
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification REQUIRED
Minimum 2 years Operating Room acute care experience REQUIRED
Minimum 3 years current OR management experience REQUIRED (supervisor, assistant manager, clinical manager, or director)
Must have accurate and updated resume with job history and units
Must be available for full-time split/evening shift
