Job description

Description
• Experience in developing Android apps on the Play Store, Jetpack Compose, Compose UI, and experience with location/map.
• Experience with Gradle, Android Studio, JAVA, Kotlin, Retrofit, and Room
• Knowledge of MVI&MVVM, OOP, OOD, DDD, through SOLID principles and development best practices
• Strong analytical and debugging skills
• Consumer mobile application development experience
• A background in building mobile applications that utilize web services (either REST-based, JSON, Thrift, or other services)
• Good knowledge of Material Design • Experience and thorough understanding of Agile Software Development
• Proficiency in the use of JIRA/Confluence in product development
• Experience in source control tools like Git.
• Good knowledge of the continuous deployment and integration process.
Requirements
• Develop solutions to address complex problems.
• Ability to share technical solutions and product ideas with the broader team through design review, code review, and show and tell
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute ideas to our technology, algorithms, and products.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer or Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
Job responsibilities
• Experience with Platform APIs to control OS/Device, custom launchers
• Experience with Android Management API, Device Policy Manager, Profile management, etc.
• Expert knowledge of Kotlin, modern Jetpack libraries, system-level Android permissions, and custom AOSP (Android Open Source Project) builds or privileged system app development.
• Develop applications for the Android platform
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs •
• Help maintain code quality
GlobalLogic estimates the starting pay range for this role to be performed Alpharetta, Georgia to be $130,000 to $140,000 and reflects base salary only. This pay range is provided as a good-faith estimate, and the amount offered may be higher or lower. GlobalLogic takes many factors into consideration in making an offer, including candidate qualifications, work experience, operational needs, travel and onsite requirements, internal peer equity, prevailing wage, responsibilities, and other market and business considerations.
