Job description

Experienced Plastics Thermoforming Operator

Extrusion / Thermoforming

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Plastics Thermoforming Operator to join our production team. This role is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining extrusion and thermoforming equipment to produce high quality plastic horticultural containers in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate extrusion and thermoforming machines to manufacture plastic products according to specifications
  • Read and interpret work orders and production specifications
  • Monitor and adjust machine settings (temperature, speed, feed rates) to ensure optimal performance
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues and make necessary adjustments to maintain production efficiency
  • Inspect, measure, and verify finished products to ensure they meet quality standards
  • Document production data, process changes, and any deviations
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Follow all company safety procedures and report any concerns promptly
Qualifications amp; Skills
  • Proven experience operating plastics extrusion and/or thermoforming equipment
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in a production environment
  • Ability to monitor and adjust machine parameters for consistent output
  • Experience performing quality checks using measuring tools
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work as part of a team

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods on concrete floors

  • Regular use of hands and arms for handling materials and equipment
