Job description

Summary of Position (Job Purpose) - Major purpose and functions of the position.
This role will manage the continuity and improvement of all Dollar Tree Store Operational processes, including managing store service programs, processes and being the subject matter expert on projects. This role is responsible for creating, updating, and managing operational procedures and new initiatives. Oversight and continuous improvement of day-to-day operations through the development of Operations Specialist(s).
Principal Duties and Responsibilities - Primary responsibilities listed in order of importance
  • Manage and continuously improve existing Dollar Tree store programs, including leveraging subject matter experts to assess needs, plan the eligibility requirements, facilitate the deployment of the programs, and follow up with field leadership on execution.
  • Lead cross-functional teams, including Projects & Programs, Training, Legal, Merchandising, Marketing, Asset Protection, Training, and Field Communications, to ensure all Dollar Tree store operating procedures, current training documents, and communications related to the programs are accurate, executable, and up to date.
  • Partner and travel with field leaders and stores to proactively identify opportunities to improve field experiences and deliver operational excellence.
  • Provide analysis and expertise to support the development of store operating procedures, training documents, and related communications for new programs and deployments.
  • Support store operational technology, systems, and process enhancements.
  • Manage select operational reporting and partner with store operations analytics to develop key reports to measure the success of operational programs and processes. Lead changes to improve business results.
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications - Summary of knowledge, experience and education required.
  • 3 - 5 years of experience in retail, other service industries, or in "project manager" capacity
  • Passion for process simplification, continuous improvement, and change management
  • Strong project management skills with demonstrated success in project plan creation and successful implementation.
  • Ability to navigate within various pieces of technology both as an end user and as a subject matter expert to support the store teams.
  • Ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical abilities with demonstrated success in translating analysis into executable action.
Desired Qualifications - Desired but not required.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Management or a related field experience
Start Rate = $110,000 - $122,000 based on experience plus 20% bonus and equity.
