Job description

Morrow County Health District is seeking a full-time experienced Clinical Laboratory Generalist who meets CLIA ‘88 requirements for testing personnel with at least an Associate’s Degree in Laboratory Science and holds a current national accredited license. Experience in Blood Banking, Hematology/UA, Coagulation,
Chemistry, Phlebotomy, and Quality Control are required.

Job Details:
Under the general direction of the Outpatient Services Director, the Laboratory Technician is responsible for making sure the preparation of specimens for tests, collection of blood, examination of blood samples, and other duties performed are being done in accordance to all policies and procedures. The Laboratory Technician is required to share 24-hour on-call responsibilities.
  • ASCP preferred.
  • Must be a team player with excellent positive communication skills.
  • Occasional part-time variable hours.
  • Wage $38.00/hour including evening/weekend call coverage.
