Job description

Lead Core Lab Technologist – Charlotte, NC (28202)

EVENING SHIFT

We are seeking an experienced Lead Core Lab Technologist to join a high-performing laboratory team in Charlotte. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity with a focus on leadership, quality, and operational excellence across the core lab.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations of the core lab (chemistry, hematology, coagulation)

  • Lead, mentor, and support laboratory staff

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and quality standards

  • Assist with scheduling, workflow optimization, and troubleshooting

  • Maintain accuracy, efficiency, and turnaround times

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Laboratory Science or related field

  • ASCP certification required

  • 4+ years of clinical laboratory experience (leadership experience preferred)
