Job description

Doctor of Chiropractic – Lead Clinician The Joint Chiropractic | Wasilla, AK | Full-Time | $85,000 – $105,000 + Performance Bonus and Profit Sharing

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Joint Chiropractic in Wasilla, Alaska is looking for a Doctor of Chiropractic who is ready to lead. Not just see patients — lead. We want someone who will own the patient experience, energize a team, and become a genuine wellness resource in a community that will know and trust them by name.

This is a high-volume, walk-in clinic. No appointments, no insurance, no modalities — just chiropractic care delivered consistently and well to a loyal and growing patient base.

WHAT MAKES THIS OPPORTUNITY DIFFERENT

Most chiropractic roles put a third party between you and your patient. We do not. There are no insurance pre-authorizations, no annual visit limits, and no claims department telling you how to practice. Your clinical decisions are yours.

The Joint is a national franchise, and like any franchise, the employee experience varies significantly by location. We have worked hard to build something we are proud of in Wasilla — a supportive team, engaged ownership, and an environment where a skilled, motivated doctor can build a real career.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Deliver chiropractic adjustments to a walk-in patient base with a target of 45 or more patients per day

  • Convert new patients to routine wellness care plans and membership programs

  • Lead and inspire the clinical support team to grow and perform

  • Serve as a community wellness advocate and help grow the practice's local reputation

  • Collaborate with clinic leadership while managing day-to-day clinical operations autonomously

COMPENSATION AND SCHEDULE

  • Base salary: $85,000 to $105,000 depending on experience

  • Performance bonus and profit-sharing potential

  • Full-time, 4 to 5 days per week

  • Clinic hours: Monday through Friday, 9:45 AM to 7:00 PM with a one-hour lunch break; Saturday, 9:45 AM to 4:00 PM

  • As daily volume grows consistently to 60 to 70 patients, the path to adding a second doctor opens

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Doctor of Chiropractic degree from an accredited institution

  • Licensed or eligible for licensure in Alaska

  • Genuine love for delivering the chiropractic adjustment — no reliance on modalities

  • High energy and people-oriented — a full, busy clinic is energizing, not exhausting

  • Strong leadership instincts and a team-first attitude

  • Dependable and consistent — our walk-in patients count on us being open

  • Ready to commit to Alaska as a long-term home, not a short-term experiment

  • High integrity — we expect the same standards from our doctor that we hold ourselves to

A WORD OF HONESTY

This role involves significant patient volume compared to most chiropractic practices. It is demanding work. The schedule runs later in the day into the evening on weekdays, which suits some people well and others less so. The right candidate will be fueled by a full, busy clinic — someone who loves people, loves to adjust, and measures a great day by how many patients they helped. If that describes you, this will be one of the most rewarding roles you can find in this profession.

ABOUT WASILLA, ALASKA

Wasilla is not the remote wilderness some people imagine. It is a thriving suburban community with strong schools, shopping, dining, and entertainment. It sits in the Matanuska-Susitna Valley, roughly 45 minutes from Anchorage and convenient to Ted Stevens International Airport. The community is family-centered, with deep roots in military and blue-collar culture — genuine, loyal, and unpretentious.

Alaska offers a quality of life that is difficult to match: outdoor recreation that is world-class, space to breathe, and a sense of community that larger cities have lost. The right candidate will see Alaska not as a sacrifice but as an upgrade.
