Job Description
Job Title: Nuclear Medicine Technologist
Profession: Radiology / Cardiology
Specialty: Nuclear Medicine Tech
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Day 5x8-Hour
Hours per Shift: 07:00 - 15:30
Experience: 1-2 years minimum
License: State Nuclear Medicine license, IV trained
Certifications: ARRT(N) or NMTCB, BLS
Must-Have: PET CT experience
Description:
Travelers' permanent address must be greater than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible to apply.
The position requires a Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
The shift schedule consists of 5x8's (Monday - Friday).
Holidays will be assigned as needed.
Call is required every 5th weekend and includes 4-6 evening call shifts per month.
Minimum qualifications include an Associate's Degree and relevant experience.
Most common procedures include cardiac studies, HIDA scans, bone scans, and thyroid scans.
Experience with various nuclear medicine equipment is required.
Candidates must have experience with EPIC electronic medical records.
The technologist role necessitates regular attendance and adherence to scheduling requirements.
Specific pre-start requirements include lab work and EKG/Dysrhythmia exams.
Requested time off is limited to a maximum of 10 days per contract, with no requests allowed during the initial weeks.
