Collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians and other healthcare staff, is essential, especially when handling emergencies or complex patient needs. Preparation involves strong communication skills, adaptability, and the ability to work independently, as support staff may be reduced during evening shifts. Staying organized and proactive in anticipating patient needs can help ensure a smooth workflow and high-quality care.
