Unlike traditional auto mechanics, EV technicians work with high-voltage battery systems, electric motors, and advanced electronic components unique to electric cars. They are trained to handle the safety protocols associated with high-voltage systems and are knowledgeable about both software and hardware troubleshooting in EVs. As the popularity of electric vehicles grows, the demand for skilled EV technicians is increasing rapidly.
