Automotive Sales Consultant - Full Time

We're hiring at Genesis of Schererville, a brand-new luxury dealership serving Northwest Indiana and the Chicago area. This is consultative selling—not traditional car sales.

Responsibilities

  • Consistently build relationships with new and existing customers by assisting them in selecting a vehicle through questions, careful listening, and a positive attitude

  • Grow and demonstrate knowledge of the product offerings, optional packages, and latest vehicle technology

  • Educate buyers on Genesis benefits - vehicle pricing and financing options, Service Valet, complimentary maintenance, Connected Services, and Advanced ADAS technology.

  • Perform high-quality and professional demonstrations of vehicles for interested customers

  • Follow up with customers and buyers to establish lasting relationships and customers for life with the referral program

  • Learn to overcome objections and thrive in various sales situations to improve quality of appointments and vehicle demonstrations

  • Report to Sales Manager to establish monthly and quarterly objectives, planned events, maintain reviews, and analyze individual performance

  • Meet and exceed dealership goals and sales objectives daily with a positive attitude and by engaging in business development


Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required

  • At least 1 year of experience serving or selling to high-net-worth clients (luxury hospitality,high-end auto sales,fine dining, high-end real estate, premium retail, or consultative sales)

  • Previous experience with high-ticket sales ($50K+) or high-net-worth clientele ($150K+ income) preferred

  • Knowledge of EV technology and electrification is a plus

  • Multilingual abilities (Spanish, Mandarin, Polish, Korean) is a plus

  • Professional demeanor and polished presentation

  • Clean driving record and valid driver’s license

  • Able to participate in adrug screen and background check before employment
