Whatyou'llbe doing as Technology and Innovation Business Developer:

You will have responsibility for seeking and engaging new business opportunitiesmainlyin Space (through ESA, national delegations and companies in this segment), Aerospace (avionics, drones, and other vehicles), large scientific facilities (such as particle accelerators or radioastronomy) andDefenseat an international level leveraging also other contacts and international network of SafranElectronics andDefensegroup.

As a key member of our Research & Technology and Programs teams:

  • You willfacilitateourengagement innational/international business opportunities contributing to the company growth
  • You will increase market penetration by understanding the competitive market landscape, how and where Safran Electronics &Defensetechnology can be of use
  • You will promote and lead long-term commercial partnerships with key customersand partnershipsinAerospace,DefenseandScienceprograms
  • You will work on identifying/qualifying/pursuingbusiness opportunities aligned with thecompany technologies
  • You will collaborate on project proposals from a business development perspective, providing ad hoc support asrequired
  • You willleveragestrategic partnerships to enhance performance, including preparation of international complex consortia and conducting joint international calls
  • You are expected tomaintainup-to-date internal databases related to customers, opportunities, and commercial activities

  • Exceed annual order plan for R&T projectsandprograms
  • Execute on plans to increasebusiness opportunitiesaligned with the company strategyandR&T technology roadmap

Knowledge, Skills & AbilitiesWe'reLooking For:

Requirements:

  • Background in a Technical education or Engineering discipline
  • 5+ years of business development experience with relevant electronic products, ideally inAerospace,Defenseand Science programs.
  • Knowledge of how International, European, and National program and grant systemsoperateis highlyadvantageous.
  • Plus: experience with Position, Navigation,Timingand/or Simulation products
  • This role requires intensive international travels.
