Position Overview:

In this role, the Electrical III operator is responsible for the building and wiring of high voltage back panels, terminating wires in electrical cabinets per schematics and wiring ancillary equipment to the machine. The Electrical III operator will also be responsible for performing continuity testing and checking voltages throughout the back panel, ensuring proper functional of electrical components and electrical troubleshooting for machinery models produced at HOMAG Machinery North America.

Essential Functions:

  • Review and interpret electrical schematics for the successful installation of components
    and wiring cables for machine production
  • Examine final work for completeness and quality levels, including making adjustments
    and repairs as needed
  • Continuity testing
  • Checking variable voltages on AC/DC
  • Informing supervisor of any quality issues
  • Supporting team members as needed
  • Ensuring the cleanliness of the cycle workstation
  • Other duties as assigned

    Qualifications:

    • 3+ years of relevant production experience
    • 3+ years of experience in reading and utilizing blueprints/schematics
    • 3+ years of experience with electrical troubleshooting
    • Advanced knowledge of electrical principles
    • Building back panels
    • Wiring back panels
    • PLC knowledge
    • Electrical troubleshooting
    • Attention to detail
    • Self-starter and reliable
    • Team player

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Ability to read understand European schematics

    Additional Position Details:

    • Starting pay minimum - $24 up to $26/hr. (based on experience)
    • Quarterly bonus potential - $480/quarter (estimated extra $1/hr.)
    • 17 vacation days provided on upon hire, prorated by start date
