Responsible for executing device lifecycle activities, including migrations, upgrades, and user support, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruption to business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform laptop builds, imaging, and configuration for Windows and Mac devices.
  • Execute Windows OS migrations, including troubleshooting during and post-migration.
  • Support VDI (Virtual Desktop Infrastructure) and DaaS (Desktop as a Service) migration processes.
  • Assist with cloud-based application deployments and ensure compatibility during migrations.
  • Contact users to confirm migration details and assist with manual data transfers (e.g., mapped drives, Outlook signatures).
  • Manage inventory and coordinate with mailroom for device logistics.
  • Escalate technical issues promptly and maintain accurate records in ServiceNowanagement Studio.
  • Leveraging Management Studio (migration tool), to provide transparency on migration progress.
  • Collaborate with planners and report progress or blockers during daily stand-ups.
  • Perform other tasks as required.

  • Strong technical knowledge of Windows OS migrations, hardware builds, and cloud technologies.
  • Familiarity with VDI/DaaS platforms and migration best practices.
  • Ability to work independently and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Experience with tools like TechToolBar, Citrix Director, VMware vSphere, and MS Teams.
  • Familiarity with Windows 10/11 upgrade processes, VDI/DaaS strategies, and cloud migration frameworks.
  • Proficiency in ServiceNow and workflow visualization tools.
