Job Summary Under general supervision, the Registered Nurse (RN) provides patient care within a hospital setting for individuals with a wide range of medical conditions, from simple to complex. The RN collaborates with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, effective, and patient-centered care. Key Responsibilities Assume responsibility for an assigned group of patients. Document patient responses to nursing interventions and prescribed treatments. Monitor physiological data and intervene as clinically required. Administer medications and blood products according to medical orders. Initiate, regulate, and monitor intravenous infusions. Assist physicians during examinations and minor diagnostic procedures. Communicate care plans clearly with patients and their families. Provide information regarding hospital procedures and discharge planning. Make appropriate referrals to relevant clinical personnel based on patient needs. Delegate tasks appropriately to support staff. Required Qualifications Associate’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited program. Current State RN License or multistate compact RN License (eNLC). Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association. Must have at least 2 years of recent experience in the specialty within the past 2 years. Med Surg / Step Down experience required. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). ICU experience. Certifications Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association. Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Note: Travel Experience Required.
