Recommend enhancements to international settlement workflows and controls. Participate in operational due diligence and testing of systems upgrades and global workflow improvements. Maintain and refine internal documentation on global trade operations, ensuring alignment with best practices and local laws.

Reporting and Communication:

Deliver reporting packages on global settlement activity, exposure, and reconciliation outcomes to investment and compliance teams. Serve as the primary contact for portfolio managers and counterparties in resolving cross-border operational issues. Contribute to regulatory and internal audit responses involving global operational matters.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., CFA, CAIA, CIPM) are a plus.
  • 5+ years of experience in global operations and settlements, ideally covering multiple regions and asset classes.
  • Extensive familiarity with international settlement systems (e.g., Euroclear, Clearstream, CREST, NSDL/CDSL, DTCC), FX, and SWIFT protocols.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in navigating regional differences in settlement cycles, holidays, and cutoffs.
  • Hands-on experience with systems like Bloomberg AIM, CTM, Moxy, APX, or similar OMS/reconciliation tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
  • Technical skills in Excel (advanced), VBA, or SQL are advantageous. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with internal and external stakeholders.
