Role: ETL Tester
Location: NYC, NY
Perform ETL testing including data extraction, transformation, and loading validations
  • Validate data from source to target ensuring accuracy, completeness, and consistency
  • Design and execute test cases for data migration, data warehouse, and reporting systems
  • Perform data reconciliation and identify data mismatches
  • Validate business rules, transformations, aggregations, and calculations
  • Execute backend testing using complex SQL queries
  • Test data in relational and dimensional models (Star/Snowflake schema)
  • Perform data quality checks, duplicate checks, null checks, and boundary validations Required Skills & Qualifications
  • 6+ years of experience in ETL / Data Warehouse Manual Testing - Strong expertise in SQL (joins, subqueries, aggregates, stored procedures)
  • Experience with ETL tools such as Informatica, DataStage, Talend, SSIS, or similar
  • Hands-on experience with databases like Oracle, SQL Server, Teradata, MySQL, PostgreSQL
  • Strong understanding of Data Warehousing concepts
  • Experience testing large volumes of data
  • Knowledge of data modeling concepts - Familiarity with SDLC / STLC processes
  • Experience using test management and defect tracking tools (JIRA, ALM, etc.) Good to Have
  • Experience in cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
