Job description

ETL Data Engineer

As a data engineer, you know that a good site or system needs the right combination of ETL, data management, automation, clean code, APIs, analytics, and infrastructure to develop a user‑focused solution. We’re looking for a data engineer with the software engineering skills it takes to help identify potential risks, contribute to solution development, and create automated, efficient, and effective systems for our clients.

At Booz Allen, you’ll use your skills and experience to help build advanced technology solutions and implement data engineering activities on some of the most mission‑driven projects in the industry. You’ll develop and deploy the pipelines and platforms that organize and make disparate data meaningful.

You Have
  • 5+ years of experience with relational databases and SQL
  • Experience with scripting languages to automate tasks, including writing custom transformations and interfaces
  • Experience building efficient and scalable ETL pipelines
  • Experience with data modeling principles and data quality concepts
  • Ability to work with little or no supervision
  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
  • HS diploma or GED

Compensation

Salary is $62,000.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). The projected compensation range for this position is based on factors including but not limited to location, education, skills, and experience. Other benefits include health, life, disability, financial, and retirement benefits, paid leave, professional development, tuition assistance, work‑life programs, and dependent care.
