Dispensary Associate | Starting at $18/hour
Location: Plainview, NY
Schedule: Full-Time | 4 weekdays + every Sunday
Compensation: Starting at $18/hour
Long Island Veterinary Specialists (LIVS) is seeking a Dispensary Associate to join our team in Plainview, NY. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced animal hospital while supporting the accurate preparation and dispensing of medications and supplies.

Responsibilities
  • Support the accurate preparation, calculation, and dispensing of medications as directed by LIVS veterinarians
  • Maintain accurate medication dispensing records
  • Monitor medication and supply inventory and report discrepancies
  • Support inventory control and compliance with regulatory requirements related to controlled substances
  • Receive, organize, and stock medications and hospital supplies
  • Manage medication and supply inventory within the Cubex® system
  • Assist hospital team members with obtaining medications and other necessary supplies
  • Help maintain an organized, accurate, and efficient dispensary
  • Prioritize requests and responsibilities in a fast-paced animal hospital environment
  • Support efficient patient care services throughout the hospital through attention to detail and reliable medication and supply management
