The North Social Services Agency is looking to expand its team of dedicated Licensed Mental Health Counselors (LMHC) to meet the increasing demand for mental health support in Springfield, Massachusetts. As a member of our outpatient office, you will work remotely while being part of a supportive team environment that values cooperation and professional growth. Our practices are designed to promote both the mental health of our patients and the well-being of our staff. You will work Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, with occasional evening or weekend appointments to accommodate client schedules.

• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments to accurately identify the mental health needs of clients.
• Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans that align with the goals and preferences of individual clients.
• Provide individual, couples, and group counseling employing a range of established therapeutic techniques tailored to varied client needs.
• Engage collaboratively with interdisciplinary treatment teams to ensure holistic care for clients.
• Maintain thorough and confidential client records while adhering to legal and ethical guidelines.
• Participate in regular clinical supervision, case conferences, and continuing education to enhance professional skills and knowledge.

• A valid license as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Massachusetts.
• A bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, or a related field; a master's degree in clinical mental health counseling is strongly preferred.
• A demonstrated ability to conduct both individual and group therapy in professional mental health contexts.
• Knowledge of and proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic methods relevant to mental health treatment.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills to effectively build rapport with a diverse client population.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to articulate treatment progress and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Commitment to ethical practice and maintaining client confidentiality.

• Experience in conducting group therapy sessions, particularly for depression, anxiety, and trauma recovery.
• Familiarity with case management practices and the ability to work with external resources to support clients.
• Experience in using electronic health record (EHR) systems to document client progress and maintain confidentiality.
