• Conduct thorough virtual psychosocial assessments that accurately evaluate clients’ strengths, weaknesses, and treatment needs.
• Implement evidence-based therapy techniques, offering compassionate counseling to individuals and facilitating group therapy sessions focused on substance use recovery.
• Work in conjunction with interdisciplinary teams of healthcare providers, including psychiatrists and nurses, to coordinate comprehensive care plans that address the multifaceted needs of clients.
• Serve as an advocate for clients, assisting them in navigating community resources and ensuring their rights are upheld throughout their recovery process.
• Maintain detailed documentation of client interactions, including treatment progress and outcomes, within our electronic health record system.
• Participate actively in team meetings and professional development opportunities, seeking to enhance clinical skills and integrate new evidence-based practices into your work.

Your client base will primarily include adults entering our detox center with diverse backgrounds and a range of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, and trauma, often compounded by substance use issues. You will provide compassionate, individualized care tailored to each client's unique circumstances, using your expertise to help them navigate through their recovery journey effectively.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in Washington State.
• At least two years of post-licensure experience in providing clinical social work services, particularly focused on mental health and substance use disorders.
• Proficient in conducting diagnostic assessments and creating comprehensive treatment plans tailored to client needs.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to establish rapport and trust with diverse populations.
• A strong commitment to cultural competence, social justice, and ethical practice in all interactions.

• Experience with specific evidence-based treatment modalities such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
• Demonstrated ability to handle crisis situations and provide support in emergency contexts.
• Prior work within a detox or substance abuse treatment environment is highly desirable.
