As a Maintenance Technician you play a big part of the team by ensuring that our building systems are functioning properly and ready for production. You will be surveying the building, maintaining preventative maintenance schedules, and repairing mechanical systems. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Survey buildings and repair mechanical systems to ensure they are consistent with health and safety standards
  • Perform maintenance of electrical systems, including but not limited to replacing light bulbs and sockets, cleaning and repairing circuit breaker panels, etc.
  • Assist in the setup of equipment, machines and other essential systems as well as conduct repairs when necessary
  • Maintain heating and plumbing systems to ensure functionality
  • Inspect alarm systems, fire protection, and schedule repairs when needed.
  • Perform manual repairs when necessary (rebuild pumps, replace electric motors, etc.)
  • Conduct general upkeep procedures, such as painting, carpentry, and other tasks as assigned
  • Assist in ordering and stocking parts
  • Maintain and perform a preventative maintence schedule for all mechanical equipment.
  • Suggest improvements, help train new personnel, communicate all issues, work overtime when needed
  • Follow directions from team leads, supervisors and managers, be proactive and helpful
  • Maintain a safe, clean and organized work environment, be at your workstation on time daily
  • Adhere to all safety rules, have great attendance and give it your all every day

Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a maintenance technician
  • Basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic, pumps, and other systems
  • Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods
  • Working knowledge of tools, common appliances, and devices
  • Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills
  • Good physical condition and strength with a willingness to work overtime
  • Must be 18 years old, high school diploma preferred, detail oriented, automotive/mechanical ability a plus
  • Willingness and understanding you will get dirty at times, and may have to work with chemicals
  • Skill and ability of working with your hands, manual tools (must provide your own) and other instruments
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds, stand & work on your feet for 8+ hours a day and under pressure at times
  • Have a Can-Do Attitude, with good time management, communication and decision-making skills
  • Self-starting and motivated; believe in teamwork and uphold the ability to always help others
  • Adhere to all safety rules, give it your all every day, must have regular, reliable, and predictable attendance
