Senior Electrical Estimator

Salary range: $175K to $225K with great benefits

Location: Dallas, TX

Full-Time/ Permanent


We are seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Estimator to estimate industrial and commercial electrical, controls, and construction projects and develop accurate customer proposals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare detailed electrical project cost estimates and proposals.
  • Review blueprints, drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
  • Conduct site visits and assess project scope and conditions.
  • Estimate labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
  • Identify project risks and potential cost impacts.
  • Obtain and negotiate competitive supplier/subcontractor pricing.
  • Use estimating software and support project cost control.
  • Collaborate with construction and project management teams.

Requirements:

  • Strong commercial/industrial electrical estimating experience.
  • Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes.
  • Proficiency reading blueprints and specifications.
  • Strong analytical, mathematical, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Familiarity with NEC/contract documents.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Master Electrician license is a plus.
